Superman: The Death of Superman (1993) – TPB

Synopsis:

A mindless, unstoppable monster emerges from a subterranean prison. He embarks on a path of destruction with no apparent motive. He is challenged by Justice League America, who swiftly fall under his power. Superman joins the fight, and he is barely able to stand against the beast. The monster soon becomes aware of Metropolis and heads toward it. It is all up to Superman, now.
